Since 2013 the International Uranium Film Festival has also become a respectfully event in Düsseldorf in Germany, organized by Makiko Hamaguchi-Klenner, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of East Asian Studies at Ruhr University Bochum. Makiko was born in Tokyo and resided in the US from 1956 to 1962. She also studied Chinese at Nanyang University in Singapore and at the University Service Center in Hong Kong. Makiko is the festival’s consultant for Chinese and Japanese films and member of the IUFF Jury.

 

This year we will show in Düsseldorf October 17, from 13:30 pm to 16:30 pm six remarkable films on Fukushima and Nuclear Weapons.
