The subject and the characters of the film are very close to my heart. I still remember the first day I had visited these villages, to do a report on their conditions. I was not prepared to face all that was in store for me. Almost every second house that I visited --- there was either a mentally challenged child, or death of loved one... the list of plight was just endless. I could not sleep for the next two days. I went there again, stayed in the villages for the next few days, revisited the villagers... till their stories and tears became a part of me. And the result before you is our film "Toxic Neglect" that hopes to bring out our story before the world.
