Since 2013 the International Uranium Film Festival has also become a respectfully event in Düsseldorf in Germany, organized by Japanese Makiko Hamaguchi-Klenner, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of East Asian Studies at Ruhr University Bochum. Makiko is the festival’s consultant for Chinese and Japanese films and member of the IUFF Jury. This year we intend to  show in Düsseldorf seven remarkable films on Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Hibakusha, Nuclear Weapons and Fukushima. Venue: Bambi Filmstudiio. Date: October 17, 2026.
