The world is at war in the Ukraine, with threats of nuclear weapons use.
The risk of the use nuclear weapons is big as never before since the U.S. A-Bomb attacks on Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
U.S has announced it will be shipping depleted uranium weapons to the Ukraine to be used in the battle field. In the U.S new uranium mines are jeopardizing nature and communities with a legacy of radioactive waste. And political leaders of both leading parties together with U.S billionaires support untested, unbuilt new nuclear power plants as solution to combat climate change. More and more people are being influenced by nuclear industry public relations campaigns to accept and support nuclear energy without understanding the toll it takes on people and the environment. According a latest poll already a majority of Americans (57%) say they favor more nuclear power plants to generate electricity in the country, up from 43% who said this in 2020.
