Timothy Large

Timothy Large is an award-winning multimedia journalist and news editor. As Director of Journalism and Media Programs at the Thomson Reuters Foundation, he drives programs to raise journalistic standards worldwide and help independent media flourish, even under repressive regimes. He was previously Editor-in-Chief of the Thomson Reuters Foundation, responsible for global news services covering the world’s under-reported stories including humanitarian issues, women’s rights, the human impacts of climate change and corruption. Recently he stepped down to go freelance, predicting “tough times but exciting times too”. Timothy Large: “I’ve decided to leave the mother ship and strike out on my own”.
