Taiwan's government has built the nuclear plants for economical development, but it dumps the nuclear waste onto the indigenous lands. One of the „nuclear“ night-mares is the nuclear waste storage site on the Island Punsu no Tao, „Orchid Island“. It was build without consulting the Island‘s indigenous Tao people. For years they protest against the nuclear waste storage site.
