"Using hand drawn animation, I’ve created a world inspired by GMOs (genetically modified organisms) and bio-insecticides. Bio-insecticides are viral, fungal or bacterial organisms engineered to destroy agricultural pests. Evidence shows that these organisms have the ability to infect humans. This sets the stage for my story; The year is 2468. Only toxic remnants of nature exist in the form of GMOs, acclimated to their polluted environment. It’s up to Cooper Winkman to maintain the quarantine on Terminal Island where the organisms originated; If they spread, they could infect the human gene pool."
